Here’s the book review of The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. :)
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.
Okay let me be honest for a second, I don’t usually read these type of novels but let me tell you it was one of a hell bumpy ride. I never thought that I would enjoy this book. Like seriously, when one person recommended it to me for the first time, I was like nope not my type. But then people go on and on and on, about that I should seriously read the book. And here you go I did. The plot twist was just amazing. I never expected that to happen until it came closer. You know, I may not be a cheesy person but this will make you seriously feel tingly inside. And the tears, yep you can’t hold it back in especially for me that I’m such a soft person especially when it comes to reading. And let me tell you, even my friend who is a guy (yes, he’s straight) also had tears running down his face. See how this story like literally touches your heart. It’s just that this story can be so realistic that it can actually to real people. It’s like you know a slice of life. The main character, Hazel, showed what the normal cancer patients endure while they have it. Not unlike others who is so well know and popular stuff. You get the point? It’s like she’s really a normal person that has cancer and shows us that this what cancer is, it’s not like one of those fantasies that the fictional or popular people show us. And don’t get me started with Augustus Waters. But let me say one thing though, their relationship is just amazing. But one thing I don’t like though, there are some spoilers of other books and movies inside the book like literally. But aside from that it was just amazing.
