Divergent Book Review!

It has been a long time ever since I wrote a book review due to the business of school works that was to be passed day after day but since another term has ended I shall give you this review with regards to the movie that just came out. And yes, I have watched the movie and the review of that with comparisons to the book will be posted a little while. So here it is.

Summary/ Short Description:
In Beatrice Prior’s dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue- Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen year olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is- she can’t have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles to determine who her friends really are- and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she has chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she’s kept hidden from everyone because she’s been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves… or it might destroy her.

So this book just blew my mind away. This gave me all the ‘Fourtris’ feels and that’s why I ship them so much!! Their cute little acts on how they show their emotions to each other, just so cute! And while I was reading this I kept on telling my friends to read it too! I just love the dystopian world and the dividing of people into factions. Some people keep on comparing this book to The Hunger Games but let me tell you this, they are two different books with two different stories I think people must stop comparing them I mean just because their both in dystopian worlds and their people are divided into factions/districts, they are different. This book tells you about the life of a girl who goes to live in an another faction and goes through initiation and learns a deep dark secret with regards to what she truly is. This will just certainly blow your mind and my love for this book is just so unexplainable.

My rating 100000 out of 5. Jk. 5 out of 5 :*>
